A Stroll Across The Brooklyn Bridge
And then under the Manhattan Bridge
Temperatures in the 60s on a Sunday afternoon. Clearly I wasn’t the only one who thought a stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge was in order.
The walk offered spectacular skyline views.
And many couples find it to be a spot for a romantic interlude.
Dumbo is a trendy neighborhood under the Manhattan Bridge. No, it’s not named after a cartoon elephant. It stands for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. Many people, like me, wander over to Dumbo after walking the 5,985 feet long Brooklyn Bridge span.
