I just visited Michigan's newest indoor interactive aquarium and zoo
They allow you to feed and even touch some of the animals
As of this posting, LegaSea’s grand opening isn’t until next week. But I was there for the soft opening and was amazed at how extensive the exhibits are and how helpful the staff is in answering any questions one might have about any of the animals on display.
Located in Utica Michigan, it’s a great experience, especially for children, because you get to hold some of the animals. In this case, children of all ages!
Several of the reptiles on display are albinos. A relative rarity in nature.
A rare two-headed turtle.
The Repatarium was opened across the street from this facility in 2018 by Brian Barczyk and his wife. After his death, it was decided to expand from solely a reptile zoo to an aquarium as well, in his honor. Thus the name LegaSea.
The expansion adds approximately 30,000 square feet to what was originally opened across the street.

Fantastic! Such wonders exist and you captured them beautifully!
Oh, I would love to go here!
