She’s swimming with marine life. This actually was the most interesting shot on the beach. Or over the beach.
Unlike New Jersey where most places you have to pay to use the beach in season (grrrr) beaches here are generally free to use. But one cautionary note. Parking generally is not. There are electronic meters or you can use parking apps near the beaches and in the entertainment district.
The nightlife is vibrant and because the bars and restaurants have sides that open, as one walks down the street one hears music coming from various venues colliding with one another. But seemingly no one minds. And if you hear a band you particularly like you can just pause on the sidewalk and listen for awhile.
I have family and friends who have condos here who have been raving about Delray Beach for years and have been begging me to visit. I was actually prepared for disappointment. After all, what could possibly live up to the hype? But I’m pleasantly surprised. Because it actually does.
I spotted this guy doing free magic tricks on the sidewalk.
And speaking of free, this country band was giving a free concert.
And to answer the obvious question, yes, the Crossfire Creek Band is very good.
I really like this mural. Especially because it’s on a wall that’s hiding a Dumpster.
I didn’t get a chance to visit this pub and arcade but it sure looks inviting. Perhaps next time!

Well now I know what Delray Beach is about, it looks very inviting since I haven't been there in over 30 years. Pretty amazing Gary, thanks.
